1. Who we are (data controller)

AlphaSaphir Animations is operated by AlphaSaphir, a Swiss sole proprietorship (Einzelunternehmen), Daniel Oliveira, Viktoriastrasse 14, 8057 Zürich, Switzerland. Contact: info@alphasaphir.ch.

2. Which law applies

As a Swiss business, we process personal data primarily under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/DSG). Because we sell to customers internationally, other rules may additionally apply depending on where you live: the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for customers in the EU/UK, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) for California residents. 3. What we collect

When you order, we collect: name, email address, shipping address (for paperback orders), and payment details (processed directly by our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers). Browsing our store also sets a small number of technically necessary cookies (cart, checkout, security).

4. Why we collect it

To process and ship your order (including sharing your shipping address with our print-on-demand partner so your book can be printed and dispatched), to handle payment, to answer support requests, to keep required accounting records, and — only if you opt in — to send you emails about new books.

5. Who we share it with

Shopify Inc. (our e-commerce platform), our payment processor, our print-on-demand printing partner (so your paperback can be produced and shipped directly to you), and our email delivery provider. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.

6. International transfers

Some of the providers above may process data outside Switzerland/the EU (e.g. in the US). TODO — confirm Standard Contractual Clauses / adequacy mechanisms are in place with each provider before launch.

7. Cookies

We currently use only technically necessary cookies to operate the store. We do not run analytics or advertising cookies at this time. TODO — if analytics/ad tools are added later, a cookie consent banner becomes legally required in the EU/UK and several US states.

8. A note about children's privacy

Our books are made for children, but our store itself is for adults: purchases are made by parents, grandparents, and other grown-ups. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 (relevant under the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, COPPA) or under 16 (relevant under GDPR). If you believe a child has provided us personal information directly, contact us and we will delete it.

9. How long we keep data

Only as long as needed for the purpose collected, except accounting records which Swiss law requires us to keep for 10 years.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, to object to processing, and (under CCPA) to know what's collected and opt out of any "sale or sharing" of data — we do not sell or share data for advertising.
